This is my beautiful Class of 2018 senior Anna! Her summer session took place at the very end of July so there was a lot of green and still a lot of flowers. We wanted to capture that summer essence and also some of her adorable big city style so we started off in the downtown area of Des Moines and headed over to Greenwood park to immerse ourselves with the flowers of the season. Anna is a cheerleader and has also danced her entire life, so as you can imagine her flow and poses were so natural and second nature to her.

In addition to her summer session, she also decided to do an indoor winter session with me in January where we focused on her love for dance! You can see some of those sneak peeks here  and here and all throughout my instagram page. Her images were featured on Modern Senior and Senior Year Magazine.  And to think I haven’t even posted the full blog of her images from that session yet! (Coming soon!!!) I have absolutely enjoyed getting to know Anna and her mom throughout her senior year.  I love doing multiple sessions with my seniors all year because then I truly get to connect and get to know them, which is one of the best parts about my job!  I have lots of Class of 2019 Seniors who have decided to add these extra shoots to their senior collection for senior year – I can’t wait!
