When I had my 3rd boy (Ryan) I didn’t feel totally overwhelmed right away…I thought I would still maybe have a 4th baby someday but by the 5th week of sleepless days and nights, (confined to my home because he absolutely detested the carseat) I took him to the pediatrician’s office desperate for an answer for why my baby was not a happy camper. The scream on this kid was louder than what any 6 lbs 6 oz born baby should be able to handle. Anyway…the answer from the doc: “You have a fussy baby. Wait until he is 4 months old and he will be better then.” I drove home and emailed my husband – “We are done.” He didn’t argue with that. Ha ha!
So all summer I lived vicariously through my friend Brooke, wondering if her 4th would be a boy or a girl. I guessed girl but was wrong! Take a peek at their new life with 4 boys all under the age of 6! These little guys are the cutest boys with the best manners and the sweetest faces – and my kids love them too! Such a blessing to watch them grow up!
It’s always a joy to capture sweet moments between the biggest brother and baby brother. Would you look at how well he is holding onto his new baby brother? I was melting…
They love him so much!
Can this family be any more photogenic and gorgeous!?
Way back in 2013 I did a fun “day in the life of” photo shoot with this family. We decided back then to have them make cookies and have fun together in their kitchen while I shot away. Fast forward a year later and now the cookies have become a full fledge business – “Brookies“! Brooke does an amazing job creating gorgeous and delicious sugar cookies; she is not only a baker but also wife and mom to 4 boys…(4 boys under the age of 6) Supermom! So it was only natural that we bring out the flour and the mixer and include baby #4 in the mix “fresh from the oven”. 🙂
Isn’t he gorgeous? A product of LOVE…
Oh and butter, sugar and flour of course! 🙂
