I can’t believe this summer is coming to a close…as much as I am ready for the kids to go back to school, there is still a spot in my heart that aches knowing that one more summer with my boys has gone by. <insert teary eyes> A new school year means adding another +1 to their grade, another +1 to their age and another +1 to MY AGE! (Sh*t!) The older I get the faster time is flying by. I keep thinking that at some point I will feel “caught up” and then I can sit back and really enjoy them growing up and take it all in.  Truth is they are growing up before my eyes and everyday the To-Do list keeps getting longer…and they keep getting older.  There is one place, however, where time seems to stop and the To-Do list is nowhere on my mind.

It’s called…”Grandma and Grandpa’s Lake House”…

It’s a place that reminds me to SLOW DOWN…

LIVE IN THE MOMENT…

BE FULLY PRESENT…

CHERISH ALL THAT I HAVE…

BE THANKFUL…and EMBRACE GOD’S GLORY!
