What’s a typical family session with me going to be like? I’d say laid back, casual, relaxed, natural and fun!
This family session with the Henning family was just that! We started off with a casual stroll through the main square in Winterset, Iowa.  We brought along tricycles, strollers and scooters as well as grandma and grandpa for the added fun! 🙂  We ended up at the historical society just on the edge of town where we captured some gorgeous photos of the family with the sun setting in the background.  It was one of the most beautiful evenings of the summer…read on for more!

The must have image of every mom and her baby. If I could only go back in time and capture this with my babies!

I absolutely love this image. It makes my heart warm. It makes me smile. It makes me so happy.

I was able to catch the sweetest moment of grandma with baby Leah while I was taking Heidi and Steve’s portrait. Love!

This is where I say “just one more! Then ice cream for everybody!”  Dad did a great job here holding out until the very end. Good job Steve! Not all dads can do that. 🙂
